The RICS Level 2 Survey provides a concise and easy to read report about the structure of the building.

Our RICS Level 2 Survey will cover the following:

  • Structural Concerns. We will identify any areas of concern with the structure including cracking in walls, foundation failure and roofing defects to name a few.
  • Damp. Damp is a common problem in domestic buildings. It can be a difficult issue to diagnose, and costly to remedy.
  • Services (Gas, Electricity, Water, Heating, Hot Water and Foul Drainage). We will comment on any concerns with the building services based on a non invasive visual inspection. For example, we will identify whether a boiler is due for renewal soon, whether there are any concerns with old electrics, and old hot water and heating systems.
  • Legal Matters. There are a number of legal matters that can arise from a survey that your solicitor may not be able to identify as they will not usually have been to the property. These could include rights of way, wayleave agreements or extensions undertaken without building control approval.
