Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Land Registry compliant plan?

Land Registry have strict criteria for their plans before they will be accepted. We have completed many such plans for private clients and solicitors.

You will typically need a Land Registry compliant plan when registering land for the first time, transferring part of a title, dealing with adverse possession, registering a new lease, or resolving a boundary or access matter. Your solicitor will usually advise if a plan is required as part of your transaction.

A determined boundary plan is a plan that fixes the exact legal boundary of a property, sometimes where this is disputed. Land registry has particular requirements for drafting of determined boundary plans, and we are conversant with these criteria.

The cost depends on the complexity of the matter and the type of plan required. We are happy to provide a fixed-fee quotation once we understand the nature of your requirement. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.

We are based in Farnham, Surrey and Liphook, Hampshire, and regularly assist clients across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, please get in touch and we will be happy to advise.
